Rob is the head instructor of Island Top Team, founder of www.bjjconcepts.net, an accomplished competitor, and is best known for pioneering modern concept-based Jiu Jitsu (you often see us use and reference his FYJJ situational drills and sparring).
Rob has dedicated himself to figuring out the conceptual underpinnings of grappling, learning the best methods used by the elite of the sport, and familiarizing himself with cutting edge cognitive learning strategies, pedagogy, and sport skill acquisition.
